Visual Identity Concept Poster

Challenges & Objectives

/ Project Overview

This piece is built around the idea of restraint.

Instead of adding more, the focus was on reducing everything to what matters — form, balance, and atmosphere.

The visual blends historical inspiration with a modern approach, creating something that feels both timeless and current.

It’s not about recreating history, but translating its meaning.

/ Challenges

  • Keeping the design minimal without losing depth
  • Using limited elements while still creating strong impact
  • Respecting cultural references without falling into clichés
  • Creating tension through stillness, not movement

/ Objectives

  • Build a strong central presence
  • Use negative space to create focus and emotion
  • Combine typography and imagery into one clear statement
  • Let simplicity carry the weight

/ Design Approach

Everything revolves around balance.

The composition is centered and controlled, with the samurai acting as both subject and symbol. The surrounding space is just as important as the figure itself — creating a sense of scale, isolation, and reflection.

Every element is placed with purpose. Nothing is there by accident.

/ The results

The final piece feels quiet, but intense.

It invites you to slow down, look closer, and feel the tension beneath the surface.

Because sometimes the strongest visuals aren’t the loudest ones —
they’re the ones that stay with you.
